Destination airport for you is Fortaleza in the state of Ceará in Brazil.
Flights there are offered by TAP (www.flytap.com), with a stopover in Lisbon. The advantage with this airline is that you can book the flight with a second piece of luggage for a small extra charge.
An alternative is the flight with KLM /Air France (www.klm.com). Here you can convert your luggage as kite luggage.
After arrival at the airport Pinto Marinas in Fortaleza our driver is already waiting for you. With him you will arrive safely and relaxed from the three million metropolis directly to Itarema and our Crazy Kite Center in Ilha do Guajiru.
If you prefer to be flexible with a rental car, you can easily pick it up at the airport in Fortaleza. All major car rental companies are represented there, so you can easily reserve your car in advance. We recommend that you take out insurance that covers tire damage, as not all roads in Brazil are of the best quality.
And if you don't want to have dents in your car, never park your car under palm trees!
Via the relatively well built BR85 - direction northwest (noroeste) you then drive to Itarema. At the first exit you enter the small town. At the town square follow the signs to Ilha do Guajiru. There you take the Avenida do Elvis (sandy road) to our Pousada Kitesafari Guajiru (coordinates -2.885524, -39.898417 ).
